•CLASS 2A: Fort Campbell (14-0) vs. DeSales (11-3), 3 p.m.
•CLASS 5A: Highlands (14-0) vs. John Hardin (14-0), 7 p.m.


Saturday, Dec. 5

•CLASS 3A: Somerset (14-0) vs. Paducah Tilghman (8-6), 11 a.m.
•CLASS 1A: Mayfield (13-1) vs. Lexington Christian (13-1), 3 p.m.
•CLASS 6A: St. Xavier (13-1) vs. Trinity (10-4) 7 p.m.

this year is much different from years of the past....no beechwood, belfry,central.....this seems very strange.....and who wouldve thought puducah tighman and somerset would be playn for the 3a state championship.....do you think this is good kentucky football

It seems this year that NKY football is down as well as the Louisville area as well. Its hard not seeing either NCC or Beechwood in the finals this year. But they still both made good runs despite it being a down year for them. NKY is still very good as compared to the rest of the state. The West this year has come out of nowhere but I don't see this being a common trend happening in the future.

i think it is good for ky football. sure you have some of the always here teams but this is encouraging to see some teams coming into the spotlight that may have not been here before. may the state is coming around and there is a better emphasis on sports at the high school level.
