Somebody might want to check this poll, unless there are supposed to be 109.1% voters.
#9
I dont see PT having much trouble in this one, PT wins this one going away
#10
Somerset, EKY will be behide you guys. Bring the title back with you. Somerset 42-20.
#11
Paducah has hit there stride at the right time. Should set up another great game for the Jumpers. Feeling Somerset by 12 in a tight game.

Somerset - I don't know anything about your team beyond the perfect season. On Saturday you will see speed like you have not seen all year. There is no real way to describe the speed you will encounter, but you might ask Central or Russellville. PT has skinny little kids on the line and the team barely has a winning record. You will find Tilghman to be a very dangerous and a very hungry team.
#13
Yeah the only place Somerset has seen a lot of speed this season is on their own roster. However, I feel like Somerset is a juggernaut in 3A this season. No one has been able to slow them down and I don't see it happening in Bowling Green.
#14
Tilghman-42

Somerset-7

somerset has not seen a team the likes of tilghman all year, and they simply have something else coming. from watching both play, in all honesty somerset is lucky to be playing in this game.

This game should be good.
#16
^Thanks for fixing that...

It's hard to believe that a program with the long tradition of Somerset has never won a State Title. They've been very close other times and even though I loathed them as a rival "back in the day," I kind of would like to see the Bunnies finally get a crown.

Good Luck Briar Jumpers!

Everyone keeps talking bout PT speed. Somerset is not a slow team at all and they finish strong. Im gonna take Somerset by 10.

I'm just glad Somerset doesn't have to play those SEVEN teams that beat PT this year. Man, the speed on those team must have been NFL quality.

That's what Central thought about 7 losses too. That's the kind of thinking we like. In fact, we encourage it.
#21
Somerset has an abundance of speed. So they will be fine in that area. Coach Lucas will have his team focused and ready to play. He has done an amazing job this year. I predict the Jumpers will win 27-14
#22
Bottom line is that Central came in cocky and overconfident for that game and forgot to finish it. Do not count on Somerset doing the same. The Briar Jumpers will be prepared and they will be hungry. This team is a force and they finish games better than any team in 3A. Tilghman has made a nice run here in the playoffs, but I see Somerset bringing home the hardware this season.
#23
Would rather see the tea with the best nickname in KY HS Football win... but I think PT has too much speed and athleticisim.

PT 28
Somerset 20

Actually you misspoke, it is six losses. But we will pretend it is 7.

My bad. But dude they lost six games and your talking like they are Highlands. There is a reason they lost six games. Until somebody beats them, Somerset has to be the favorite in this game. I have seen PT play. Didn't impress me.
#26
The way Tilghman has been playing the last few weeks, I don't if any 3A team can beat them. I still will take the Mountain team in this one. I'm buying the Jumpers in a one score game.

Best of luck to both teams!
#27
Somerset will hit PT like many teams have this season and soundly beat them. Somerset is big and fast, PT cant match up. Somerset by 14
#28
Tilghman does not win by matching up with anyone. They are far too small. They finished third in a weak district. Lots of penalties - 17 flags for more than 200 yards at Edmonson County. Play at times has been dreadful. So the endearing mystery my friend is why is this team playing Saturday?
#29
PT has overcome alot of obstacles this year. Best player injured just minutes into the first game and out for the year, another sidelined for an injury new coach (2nd year), new system, several disgruntled players quit. 4-6 in the regular season. As someone said, "this is a team people wanted to throw food at." Have come back to win 4 playoff games, 3 on the road and 1 at home beating Central, the back to back defending champion. The players started to believe in themselves and know they can come back from being down in the first half to win the game. I don't know anything about Somerset except they are undefeated. Both teams haven't been to a state championship in years and are both hungry to come back with the title. It should be a good game. I am hoping Paducah Tilghman is victorious.
