Hard fought game from both sides.

Congrats to Bell on another great season. As for Boyle and the GOLDSMITHS way to go. Now go get the big one.

I guarenteed victory for Boyle County and they did it!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!
#6
Barsotti drills a 24-yard field goal as time expired to win the game for Boyle. Looks like this is Boyle's year and settles the debate that was incensed during the year.
#7
Great 4A Semifinal game, couldn't ask for a better game except for a Bell Co win! But, the Bobcats need to keep their heads after such an amazing season!!! Good Season Bobcats!

I'll be good on this one.

First, Congrats to these Boyle players and particularly Coach Larry French. Class Act who deserves another shot at a state title. May the Rebs bring it home.

Congrats to Bell County and their super team as well. They once more showed their talent and program in a classic duel that has produced two great games in back to back years. Still a great year for them.

Now Rebels, "Finish the Fight" next week. :Cheerlead:Cheerlead:Cheerlead

:Thumbs:good job to both teams overall!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!, but I said it before and I will say it again due to that runningback for Boyle County "I guarenteed victory" before even this one was played!!!!!!!!

:dontthinkDon't be sore BigBlueBobcatFan, don't attack my team and criticize my pick of this game....Now I can brag all I want because I was on the ROCK teams that beat you all 3 times out of 4 games my junior and senior year (05-06), I gave you all credit overall......And besides with Rock being young with a lack in certain areas of determination then yeah, you beat us twice.....I don't need a news flash....I know,I know.....be a good sport now and keep your head up man, you all made it to the final four so be happy with that, I picked my choice right and fair square so be a good sport and don't be sore about it.....ok!!!!!!!:Thumbs:Appreciate it and thanks!!!!!!!!

Jesus, can we not have a normal thread without bickering? This is going to stop now or else people are going to have long vacations. Talk about the game and the game only. Only warning.

I am going to keep my peace because of the fact that bell has not lost to a mountain team since 2006 and we have a STATE TITLEand i have respect for my fellow bobcats and the great people for this site and do not want to tarnish a great football game with foolishness and stupidity, so to all a great game and we will be back at it next year...

That's exactly the way to be. You guys are Bell County. You compete every year for a state title. You can't win one every year. No need in getting into a ****ing contest with jealous fanbases.

Great game. Boyle's defense completely shut the run down and threw a shutout after falling behind by ten. This Boyle team is the best the Rebels have fielded since 2001. I was a little surprised that Bell didn't show more offensively. Play calling I mean; besides a couple of reverses and a halfback pass it was pretty vanilla. Boyle seemed **** bent on establishing a "MacShara Free" offense at times in the first half. The second half they decided to ride their horse and controlled the line of scrimmage and thus the game. GO REBELS!!

Wow. That was the best high school football game I've ever watched. Two great teams in a battle all night. Congrats to Bell Co. on a great season, you all battled all night. Way to go Rebs! Now finish the fight next week in Bowling Green!
#26
Great game Boyle! Dont let your gaurd down its not over yet!

Who'd have thunk that we ended up being more smashmouth than Bell County since we are such a finesse team?:eyeroll:

Great game by two great teams. I am so glad I was there to witness it.

I think Rees ended up with 182 yards on 34 carries. The whole game changed for the better when the play calling started calling for Rees to get the ball over and over and over. Funny how the 1st downs started piling up when he finally started to get the rock consistently. I don't mind a "Rees-free" offense AFTER Rees has already set the tone.

Mike Fields report that Rees had 194 yards on 31 carries.

I agree, once Boyle started feeding Bell a steady diet of #2, Boyle was able to control the game.
