stardust i can see why you pick them but could you agree that Henrys defense is something that central hasnt seen and when henrys offense is clicking like they were 424 yards rushing and a more than spectacular passing game henry could upset this team!...becuase centrals fist two playoff wins they allowed teams henry manhandles to score all type of points and ladies and gentalmen henry does not allow to score that many points on them! so im going to go with my smart pill machine and say henry they go to the beehive and upset the "king" Go hc make history!

Central is the favorite for a reason. HC needs to be quiet and grind it...... as they say in New Castle. Central will not underestimate Henry this time around they will have a game plan to Score on HC.

Should be a great game. Central is a good team, but not dominant by any stretch of the imagination. I think Central wins 21-20 on a late score set up by a penalty....

Central has played Male, Manual, and X. I doubt that Henry's is going to be the best defense they face. Central has a lot of speed. In the game last night they got the ball with the score tied at 27 with 1:45 or so left. They scored within a minute 1:15 on two or 3 plays. If Henry can handle the overall team speed that Central has they can win. But I say Central pulls out another 35-31.

grinders,here is my thought.central is a good team as is henry.should be a close game and henry should have a chance to win it.but for you to think central hasn't seen a defense like henry is just plain dumb:lmao: look at their schedule,they play all the big boys of jefferson co.they have seen speed and they have seen defense.since you are a henry fan you need to ask for the perfect storm.central fumbles couple times,while henry doesn't.then maybe get a score from special teams or defense,then at the end of the night hope that henry players are not intimidated and just maybe henry will get a shot at the champ!what you need to remember is,central is the 2 time defending state champ.they have been around the world and back and seen it all,they are well coached and they have great athletes.i can assure henry can't offer anything that central wont be ready for....with that being said,i am not a central or henry fan.i am simply offering you my unbiased opinion on two teams that i have seen up close this year.so good luck.

i didnt mean to offend anyone but henrys defense is hard nosed and kudos to both teams but as you say central will be ready for whatever henry throws at them same to henry henry can handle anything they throw at them cameron smith and errico smith are two very fast backs and it looks like henry was able to win that and those two match evenly speed wise so nothing crazy but theres a little ole saying defense wins championships also that the champ will eventually lose their turn on top i believe this game will come down not to who is the champ or has the rep its exicution so good luck should be a awesome game to watch!

this statement is not true by anymeans IMO just becuase you play 6a teams isnt nothing just becuase there big doesnt mean there entitled to be athletes becuase heres a example fort thomas highland which is by far the best team in the state! one of the best in the nation you know why its becuase they work hard they grind it out they have the same population as henry they choose to play up if not guess what they would be in henrys district so dont say anything bc i do believe henry beat you all and one the district! and anyone can quote me on this one ANY TEAM CAN LOSE AT ANY TIME coaches dont play players do :HitWall:

grinders,you totally misunderstood what i was saying.true,henry beat spencer co.you know why?..henry is a much better team than spencer.i never questioned that for one second.now what i meant by centrals schedule.you said you didnt think central would ready for henry's defense.i simply am stating to you that central has played st.x,fern creek,male,and manual.now i dont think henry can do anything to central that they havent seen from this group of jefferson co. teams.pound your chest all you want about henrys defense,its good but central will present some challenges that henry may not be ready for.you are right about henry handling the Smith kids from spencer,but i am here to tell you ace wells and stephan robinson are on another level.these two kids run the forty under 4.3. by comparison cameron and erico smith are in the 4.7 range.now thats a huge difference.now the thread asked for thoughts and these are my unbiased opinions.do i think henry will have a chance....sure if they catch some breaks and play a perfect game.i see central winning somewhere around 34-21.but should be fun.

HC does not need to play perfect, they just need to play pressure is on Central. They have been there done that when it comes to round 3, HC is always been home or sent home round 3.

???? HC seems to me to have a pretty good run game. the game i attended in their first round playoff game they rushed for 425 yrs,not to shabby. But this game will not come down to stats or wat has happened in the past, this is the third round so if u made it this far then ur a pretty solid team. Friday the pressure is in Central as it has been all playoffs.They are the two time defending champs,HC jus needs to come out an play an let the cards fall as they may.....should be a good one.:popcorn:

centrals D line is led by their 6'2" 385 lb. NT.he makes near impossible to run in the A gaps.then with the speed central's LBs have makes it almost impossible to get outside.so yes henry may have run for 425 yds. on moore in the first round,but central is no moore.that may have something to do with moore being 1-9 and the 4 seed

i cant speak for hills,but spencer did everything i already talked about.central started the game by fumbling the opening kick-off,then went on to turn it over three more times that spencer turned in to 14 points.on top of that cameron smith had an unbelievable kick-off return for a TD in which he made every player on the field miss.so 21 pts. came from turnovers and a special team TD out of spencer's 36 points.only once did spencer go the length of the field on a sustained drive.

Every week there is debate on how bad this Central team is and how they are going to get knocked off. Does anyone concede that a bunch of kids are getting coached and when the clock hits 0:00 they have found anouther way to win. If this team had any other name on there jersey other than Central we would all be talking about how much heart they play with not their overall team speed. I think Henry is way better than last years squad that lost 48-0 to Central but I also think that Central finds a way to win again this week and will travel down to Paducah Tillman next week with the winner of that game being the eventual 3a state champ

Idk what you are reading but every ranking and poll i have seen has (Lou) central beating HC
