congrats on your first ever regional championship game pike central. you played great game and with the help of 4 mason trunovers you pulled the upset. Now if you want even more respect go beat a full sheldon clark team and then make it to the top of the mountain. I said pretty much all along that I didn't think mason was the top 3a team. I still yet think it is central or whoever has enough firepower to take them down.

Doesn't surprise me at all. Pike Central has size, speed, and a very good quarterback. I think if Mason has Pawsatt they would have won, but its all apart of football.

Which happens to most teams when you lose your starting QB that allowed you to go through theh season undefeated. This is most likely a different ball game if Mason still has their original QB.

Starting qb or not I don't feel mason was the number 1 team in 3a.

Believe what you want. I saw Mason up close and personal on a few occasions and they were very underwhelming....

They struggled with Harrison for gosh sakes...and really struggled with fleming co....

Actually I think the kid who played qb was colt ferris? He was a tall white kid Josh Harris however, is a sophomore and he is a beast.
