Score was LC 42 and MC 0 going into the 4th and LC started putting in JV. MC scores two TDs under the 1:10 mark of the game against LC JV. If LC could have avoided some penalties early this may have been worse.

Good luck to MC next year and hope they have a safe trip back home tonight.

the game was over at the half, i was glad to see some of the younger boys getting alot of time in. CONGRATS TO THE DAWGS!!!

Well all I know was MC had 15 yards of total offense until the last play of the 1st half and they had a 36 yard run to end the 1st half.. Then the 2nd half it was nothing but MC trying to start crap and then coach pulled our kids because of the crap they were trying to do.

That was the best call for the coach too do. It would have been a donniebrook if he had left the starters in. This way we didnt have to worry about someone gettin in trouble and having to set out next week....Great Job on the coaching staff!!!

I noticed that it seemed like it was getting pretty close to having some major trouble between the two. Nice to see LC kept their heads.

Even at the half there was words exchanged by LC fans and MC team, I had to keep guard on thier locker room all half.

Yea, from beginning to end MC comlained about every call and when they didn't get the calls they deserved started with alot of dirty play. Sad part was the crying and complaining wasn't limited to it's players. Even the MC coaching staff constantley was complaining about calls and clapping for players who Where giving cheap shots. I heard a coach calling it playing hard.

Mc sidline would have been a great place for a box of Kleenex!

At the end of the first half LC had around 300 total yards and MC was under 50 total. The second half was mostly the ref's doing thier thing trying to keep the game in control. Lot's of flags and not real exciting. LC called off the dogs early

I wasn't going to say anything except congradulations to LC until I read this load! Still yet all I am going to say is this, you need to clean your own house up before you make statements like this. Lawrence County has an excellent football team with some great athletes and they don't have to do the things that were being done on the field in the first half. If some one keeps smaking me in the back of the head sooner or later I am going to turn around and smack them back. A person can only take so much. Constant requests in the 1st half to get the unsportsman like extra curricular activities stopped was ignored by the officials and it continued early in the 3rd quarter. Actually, I was pleased that our players kept their cool and maintained enough disciple not to finally react in a harsher way. I was very surprised that a team with that much talent was doing some of the stuff they were doing. There were even players who verbally disrespected our sidelines on 3 different occassions and a man taking pictures in the back of the endzone that was cursing and harrassing our players (that wasn't you was it Batpuff) and the chain crew who was saying things to our players and people on our sidelines. None of this stuff was necessary for LC to win this game because they were daminating....no I mean dominating the line of scrimmage and much quicker on the cornners than we anticipated. We held Pack in check for the most part but #3 and # 22 ran outside very well and did the damage and the QB threw a very nice ball. As far as LC's defense they were very good up front which allowed them to stack the outsides and keep us from getting the corner. In short, LC one this game through superior play but took away the good football atmosphere of the game by how they played and now you are going to get on here and insult our players by saying they were trying to start stuff. I would say none of your opponents this year will ever believe that as we were warned by at least 3 of your opponents to watch out for such things. Still yet I will say that I met a few very nice individuals from LC, one a police officer who came over at half-time to run off some LC people who were saying rude things to our kids and another gentleman who came over to appologize for those peoples behavior. Also, Stick1 it was a pleasure to meet you even though our conversation was brief and I still want to say good luck to you throughout the rest of the playoffs!

Like I had said in my last post The second half was mostly the ref's doing there thing I didn't point any fingers I relize it's never just one side But some one had to start the stuff who IDK. I was just getting worried about ejections No one can afford to lose any one this time of the year And I think we will need every one we have next week for KC . But thanks Houseofpain for the complements. As for your team I was surprised at your numbers 30 is pretty small for a 4A program but they was some good looking young men out there and you guy's had alot of speed and they never quit . Most teams we have played this year has layed down in the second half but you guys keep on coming and that was a good thing. Hope you all had a safe trip home and have a good off season. Next season starts Monday in the wieght room . And maybe these teams will meet up agian . But for now KC has all the attention :Thumbs:

Take it like a man HOP, you can make things up all day but it wont change the fact you got your butt kicked. Fact O and D Lines whipped you up and down. I don't believe the statement about chain gain, don't know who they could have talked to, you guys travel well, lots of support from fans. Only statement you made that was true is about Stick1, he is a class act.

I agree with you. MC certainly played hard from beginning to end.

You better read my post again before you make that statement. Also, I never once took away from LC's ability to play football and dsipite everything else I said just what you have said here only I said it with some tact (refer to my statement about LC dominating the line of scrimmage) and you can take it anyway you want. But I do agree Stick1 is a class act! As far as everything else, I don't expect LC fans to agree with me because for the most part fans of any program have tunnel vision when it comes to their own team which is a human trait. Remember it was a LC person who started trying to belittle our players and program which is the ONLY reason I pointed out the facts of this game. Again good luck the rest of the playoffs!
