To all the Pond Creek faithful.......I took Thomas and Nathan Carroll to Huntington today to the specialist and both will back in two weeks dependant upon them doing what the doctor told them as far as treatment.Thomas has a torn/inflammed AC ligamentin his shoulder but a week of rest and some extra padding and he should be fine. Just a little painful but is doing alot better today. Nathan has a sprained MCL and no tears at all according to his MRI. He was given almost the same treatment instructions as Tom. I know both young men were ecstatic with the evaluations and are really excited to get back to work.Neither has season ending injuries which is truly a blessing.

So much for me and EKU keeping it a secret on here. Just kidding. Whether or not Thomas plays another down, IMO, he has had a career that will be remembered for a long time.

I mean c'mon Cobra... we are all extremely happy that the boys will be back...but whatever happened to gamesmanship and potentially forcing Shawn Hager to have to intentionally waste an afternoon next week to drive down and spy on a Belfry practice?

Good news on both players. Even with padding, "Tom" will hurt when he is hit with that injury. I just hope that he does not hurt himself worse and risk a possible college scholorship.

I can just see him in an old Belfry jacket sneaking in the gate and seeing for himself what was going on at a Belfry practice. But we all know that the red crocs would give him away.

Come on guys.Cut me some slack.I have only had 100 phone calls this week 50 yesterday alone. Although it was awfully nice to hear from so many. I thank everyone for their concern. I could not sleep comfortably leaving certain coaches away from here worrying. Seriously, I was just glad to hear all would be ok for both boys.

Lewis County? Is that whom you are referring to? UH, there are several different weapons that Belfry is using so I wouldn't count them out just yet!!
