Boyle's Defense delivers and Offense overcomes 5 turnovers to still win by 3 TD's. Stats should be interesting.

CC - 56 plays 100 total yards
BC - 44 plays 247 total yards
Dominating defense tonight from the Rebels...............:notworthy

For grins and giggles:
CC averaged 1.8 yards PER PLAY for the GAME
BC averaged 5.6 yards PER PLAY for the GAME
As bad as the offense turned it over, and as low as the total yards are, 5.6 per play isn't bad at all.
But that defense was "lock down."

A nice win heading in to the playoffs. The defense is dominating right now. The running game looks good but Boyle turns the ball over way too much. Look out 4A; here come the Rebels!!

Do we have to go down that road already? I was hoping for a Bell free thread as impossible as they seems to be.

Any news on where playoff games will be played?

Bertram said on the radio that Boyle had a bigger crown at the game than Christian did. That's incredible as the Boyle fans made a 3.5 hour drive to the game. Maybe someone can confirm this?

I will admit that i under estimsted CC on defense, but i was right about them moving the ball on Boyles defense.if Boyle hadnt turned the ball over 5 times i think they would have covered my 28 to 35 point prediction.hats off to CC they hung tough.as for Bell county lets wait till we come to that bridge before we cross it.ok cuppett777 and your not even a Bell co. fan.shame on you.

I spoke to a small group of players and parents on Tuesday about possible games at Centre and they had heard nothing like that. As far as they knew all games would be at Rebel Stadium.

Will be against bourbon co. at Boyle co unless field unplayable. Centre is an option if needed. Don't think they would play at centre until 3rd or 4th round unless field was absolutely have to. Too expensive. Boyle had 3 times as many fans as cc.

cc station said that boyle had as many as they did, they dint say there was alot more, but that not saying alot for cc i went to 2 games and they didnt have alot there then either, they should make a run in 5a if they get there players back healthy and score some points

Who was missing for CCHS? The radio announcers didn't mention anyone being out and I thought I heard all of the pertinent names mentioned throughout the game.

I know you are only telling what station said but we actually counted. They Had 78 people in their stands. We had 57 that road a charter bus alone. I stopped counting at 180 on our side so the radio guy trying to paint a better picture. Doesn't really matter i just was shocked by their attendance. Not to mention it was sr. Night.
