Boyle County's Lamar Dawson gets offer from UK
#1
Boyle County LB Lamar Dawson has received a scholarship offer from the University of Kentucky. This follows Dawson's unofficial visit to Notre Dame. Apparently Louisville and others are also interested.

I love the idea of some of the Kentucy kids getting an opportunity to play at UK

Congrats to the youngman. i hope he does go to uk

Isn't he just a junior? He is incredible from what I hear. People from Danville and Boyle County better be thankful that they have a connection like Chuck Smith in Lexington.

Lamar Dawson will learn and grow under such a brilliant football mind as Chuck Smith.

Yes, Lamar is a Jr.

Chuck Smith better be thankful he has a connection with Boyle County, to better his chances to keep Lamar in state. This young man will get alot more offers in the future.

I never meant for my post to sound negative or to discredit the Rebels. I agree, his stock is only going to rise and the connection is a two-way street.

I never took it that way LWC. After all, you my Raider Bob buddy!

Chuck better pull every string he has to keep Lamar in Kentucky. This kid will have his choice of where he wants to go at the next level, in and out of state. IMO Kentucky would really have to blow it, for him to not come. With Boyle's Jacob Tamme, and Taylor Begley's success at UK only helps.
