Union County 21 Paducah Tilghman 13
#1
PT 2 first downs on the night. UC built a 21 0 lead then held off PT with great defense. This essentially means UC will win the district

Nice win for UC

UCFB will be one happy poster.... nice, quality win between two pretty evenly matched teams.

thig ame could have easily been 40-0 but the weather and such made it a dog fight

im a player on the union county side, awesome game both sides played great football, both Defenses play hard and aggressive and both offenses were evenly matched. UCs Defense just plain dominated! but Tilghman's D wasnt under the radar, #5 was sacked at least 4 times that game. huge game, great game UC got the upset 2nd year in a row! GO BRAVES!

congrats to uc

The problems in the PT football program were never so evident as they were Friday night. A troubling lack of preparedness. Can't blame the field, it was soggy but I have played on a heck of a lot worse. It did not seem to slow UC down at all. If the field had been dry and with PT's uninspired play, who knows? Instead of a loss, it could have been a humiliation. More than any other, this game benchmarks the decline of the PT football program. UC won this fair and square. Hope the ECFB scouts sitting on the PT side saw what they needed to see.
