These would be my top five.
Ashley-Vertiy has shown great overall improvement in her foot work and shot selection. Plays great defense and rebounds the ball well.
Vanover-Verity since coming over from Rose Hill, she has went from having to it all to being a true team player. Shoots and passes the ball well, hustles on defense and rebounds.
Robinson-Verity she defines what a point guard should be. Great ball handler, gets her team mates involved and plays tremendous defense. A good shot as well.
Gransberry-Verity just a good solid player, runs the floor well and plays good defense and rebounds the ball.
Fraley-Boyd Co she does it all for them. Plays good defense, a great shot and gets her team mates involved. Just cannot leave this kid open or she will just eat you alive.

I have to say the Rankin girl too. Teams have thier backbone girls that are just as important as skilled girls too.

Have you seen the Whitley 8th grade team? They are winning tournaments all over the place. They won the "Queen of the Mountains" BCI tournament last weekend. They have 3 outstanding players....The Craig, Smith, and Johnson girls...3 of the best in the state no doubt.

The best player in the 8th grade is Trenton Gilbert from Wolfe Co. He ranked in the top 150 in the nation and ranked 6th in the state. He is the only player from that region ranked.
