Holy Cross (Lou) @ Holy Cross (Cov) 10/2
#1
Who wins and why?
#2
Cov. Holy Cross by 20
#3
I'll take CHC by 2 TD to win the "Most Confusing Game For an Announcer Classic"
#4
I like Cov. HC in this one as well. I see their athleticism being the deciding factor. Look for both Walker and Roenker to have big games.

Cov. Holy Cross- 35
Lou. Holy Cross- 14
#5
to be safe I'll go with Holy Cross in this one

I feel sorry for whoever listens to the radio broadcast of this game:

"So it all comes down to this. Holy Cross ball, 4th and Goal, at the one yard line, trailing Holy Cross by 5 points. We have 2 seconds to go. Quarterback hands it off to the first man through, he's hit at the goalline and the ball pops loose! There is a scramble for the ball and it is recovered in the end zone by a Holy Cross player! Wow! What a game! Holy Cross wins!"

I covered this very topic with the Holy Cross stadium announcer a couple weeks ago (Covington HC, by the way). At that time, he planned on calling the visitors "Louisville Holy Cross" and the home team "Holy Cross"! I guess that's the advantage of having control of the mic! I'd prefer using Cougars and Indians for play by play and using city plus Holy Cross (in both cases) when announcing the score. Whose idea was this anyway?
