"The arrest came as the result of a search at Hardy’s Cameron, NC home which turned up 262 Vicodin pills, 180 Soma pills, about half a liter of an anabolic steroid, a residual amount of powder cocaine, and drug paraphernalia."

He wasn't released, he quit. When Hardy's contract expired he wrestled for a couple months trying to negotiate, but in the end Hardy wanted a break from wrestling.

He's only been out of the WWE for about a week now.

Wow what this tells me is that he found a way to beat the WWE's testing system. If I'm not mistaken he was on strike two of his 3 strike chance. I wonder if the WWE will pay for him to go to treatment? They have paid for former employess before.

Don't know if he was beating their system, or if he simply went off the deep end when he left WWE.

The WWE Wellness Policy states that all former and current WWE stars can go to rehab free of charge and WWE will foot the bill.

wow i didnt know he was ever on drugs. i wonder why almost every professional athlete gets in trouble wether its with Drugs, stealing stuff, etc. etc.????
