JC is simply over rated. Hey you cant win 9 and 10 games every year. They will lose at least 3 or 4 more games. Sheldon clark will beat them next week.

Well theres two 4a teams jc can't even come close to competing with. I think Lawrence county could handle jc this year. :Thumbs:

It's never the Bell County fans that start the crap. It's fans of other neighboring teams that have spent some miserable seasons lately watching the JC program take off, and now that we finally have EKY's hardest schedule during a rebuilding year, they're enjoying taking their shots. We know all you people would like to see Matney go away so you have a chance of being the best team on the Big Sandy again, but it's not happening. Sorry.

This game was 6-6 going into halftime, fyi, when Bell County threw a screen pass on the last play of the half from the 50 just trying to make something happen and Davenport bounced off an arm tackle and cut it back and scored. That made it 14-6 at halftime and then JC lost the edge and turned into the team that played the first two game. We did manage to play about 23:50 of pretty decent football, though, which is an improvement over the last two games. No fumbles from the QB position all game long, either, another improvement.

Hopefully, we get the four suspended players back next week and also Dillon back from injury. Hard to play a team like Bell County without your best running back/starting DB, probably your best lineman on both sides of the ball, and three other players who see a lot of time. You can call it an excuse if you want, but let's take that kind of talent away from your team and let YOU line it up with Bell County and see how YOU do.

I know you're just trying to stir up crap, but you have absolutely no concept of what level these teams are on when you play a steady diet of local teams, and all you and your buddy the King are doing is successfully showing your collective ignorance. Frankly, it's just pathetic.

OK enough with whom is best and worst in the valley. Let's keep it on the JC and BC game of the week. Every team in the area has had their good and bad years and it looks like it has flopped back again a bit. Now let's leave it at that and back to the game.

I could be wrong on this one because I am going from memory and didn't bother to check, but you may have to go back to 1992 in Bill Musick's first season as coach when JCHS went 0-10.

Not to be a smarty pants or to get off topic, but to follow up on what you're saying. JC's last 0-3 start was actually the 2003 season, which was Bill Tom Ross' second season when they started the season 0-8 before defeating Montgomery Co. for their lone win of the season. Which was the worst season and the worst start since 1992. JC also started the 2003 season 0-3 in Ross' first season at JC, losing to Ashland, Boyd Co. and Bourbon Co before picking up one of two wins that year from Rowan Co.

We had some players out as well due to injury and penelties, so no more excuses. Bell came up and played smashmouth football. Final BC 36-JC 6 Lick your wounds and move on. :1:

Now back to the game, I feel that JC is very close to being a good football team. It will only make us better the type of competition we are playing. Once we get the monkey off our back then we could go on a roll. Keep working hard JC. I for one look forward to having everyone healthy and back on the field for this Fridays game. It should be a good one!
