Whitley's QB went out in 3rd quarter with shoulder injury and Catholic just scored. Whitley was killing them.

I said it before the season starts and will say it again, Whitley County is a VERY good team.

Whitley is getting cramped and injured. They lost an onside kick and Lexington Catholic score quickly. They are running out of gas. The backup just threw an interception and they had a costly personal foul. Whitley is completely falling apart. They have shown how good they are going to be however.

No matter the outcome of this game, whitley showed they were the better team. They overcame almost 175 yards of penalties, fatique, and a lot of players had to be taken out. Good game guys.

Final

Whitley's injuries and penalties really put a damper on their game. They proved they better and if they could have kept their QB the whole game, they would have won easily. He was having shoulder problems and they decided not to finish the game with him until it could get checked out. No since in risking injury first thing.

This game will only make them better.
