Here's a quote from the link that Outdoorsman43 gave:
"Lyons said he plans on returning to Lexington next week and exploring other career options."
Sounds like he might have finished his football career. He's good enough to be in the NFL (not as a star, but probably as a 3rd WR), but he might go to the UFL where he will get more opportunities.

Some of you all will disagree with me.
But, here goes. When i watched Lyons in college. He reminded me of a Chris Welker kind of guy. He wasn't a big receiver. But, he would fight for every yard he got. And he was a very reliable receiver. He would always try to catch every pass. And if he didn't he would not let the defensive back intercept it.

Yea, thats what David Jones will be doing since he has been cut by the Ravens. Its an amazing accomplishment to even be considered.

I want David to play badly for someone in the NFL, but I didn't prefer the Ratbirds, but if it meant that he had a job, then I was all for it. Now I'm even madder that they cut him.
