The Sportsplex will be hosting the EKBA Girls Summer Preview basketball tournament on August 15 and 16. This will be a great opportunity for girls school teams to warm up before the regular season begins. The tournament will also be open to any boys teams as well. For the first time, the divsisions will be based on grade not age. If any school would like to preview their team and enter the tournament, contact Greg Ratliff at 497-6718 for more information.

Grade Divisions:
7th/8th
5th/6th
3rd/4th
Pre/2nd

If any boys school teams would like to preview their team and enter the tournament, you can as well in the same grade divisions as above.

Should be a good showcase for Eastern Kentucky School Teams and a great preview to the girls upcoming basketball season.

I'm not sure of all the details, I just told the Sportsplex I would get the word out about the tournament.

Contact Greg Ratliff at 497-6718, he will have all the answers. If I do find out, I will post.

I do know Jodie Meeks will be at the tournament to sign autographs.
