Heard AC's normal starting catcher Hunter Crowder Played SS tonight and did a dandy job and Chad Nelson went behind the plate i didnt know nelson caught and sure didnt know that Crowder was that good of a short maybe a possible change because what games ive seen Ac has lacked a good solid SS.

Both H. Crowder and Nelson gave fine performances in their "new" positions. Nelson and H. Crowder both played catcher during Little League, Junior League and JV. Crowder took over the starting catchers spot midway through his Freshmen year, I believe this was Nelson's first varsity start at catcher. Nelson did a good job behind the plate with only 1 or 2 balls getting by him. Of course-one of them bounced before it crossed home plate and went 10-12 foot in the air- nothing Nelson could have done on that one. Don't know if this change in positions will continue into the tourney- but it sure looked good last night.

H. Crowder was best SS that AC has seen all season. Nelson was a shock behind the plate he did a great job! With L. Crowder or Hall at pitcher AC shouldn't have any problems with winning next week.

H.Crowder did a great job playing SS. Probably the best Allen Central has seen this season. As far as Nelson, he did great behind the plate also. AC should not have a problem winning next weeks games if L.Crowder or Hall is pitching.
