Jenkins 5 to LCC 0. Jenkins had no problem with this bunch tonight. If I recall correctly LCC didn't even have a girl make it to third.

Beating a team by 5 is not domination. However their baseball team was Dominated by LCC by 20 runs, 12 of those scored by the JV squad. So, do you think you kinda stretched the truth by saying you dominated them?

Congrats Jenkins!

By domination I mean it wasn't even close.

you guys could have easily one? bahahaha. thats hilarious. the only reason you guys had bases loaded was because thacker didnt have such a good first inning. you had bases loaded with one out and you STILL couldnt manage to push a run across the board. and if you guys could have easily won, how come you didnt hit better? the umpire doesnt control the batters hitting ability. you should really just take responsibility for a loss to a good team and be mature.:flame:

Granted LCC has a very good baseball team and they did beat up on Jenkins, but why would make this post on a softball thread unless just to ber a braggert.

Are you the same person as proud.lady.cougar, because you are on here talking the same trash as her, even with the same horrible spelling and grammer. I doubt seriously a pitch 10 ft over someones head was called a strike. Bases loaded with no runs scored doesn't mean squat. "Could have easliy won" makes me laugh! Why can't you admit that the Lady Cavs are a better team at least this year and move on! This obsession you have with the Lady Cavs is really unhealthy. Let it go!!

are you good for nothing but trash talking? you need to face it, jenkins is better than lcc. end of discussion. you need to comprehend this. you cant blame a loss on the umpires when you cant even put the bat on the ball. yes, a few of the girls did get good hits, but it obviously did no good because they didnt score. if you can score with bases loaded and one out, then somethings wrong. GROW UP:please:

Simple fact is...LCC WAS dominated. Not only was LCC shut out, but they were not in the game at all after failing to score in the first inning. Yes, I know the score was only 5-0, but Jenkins hit the ball much, much better than LCC, only there were a few hits that were hit right to the LCC defense. That stuff happens in softball but the Lady Cougars should have capitalized on it. They didn't because they were defeated early and resorted to petty attempts to throw off Thacker, such as stepping out a split second before she delivered the pitch. This might have worked if Kayla Burton had not stepped out and looked over to her dugout to smile and seek a nod of approval late in the game. If you're gonna play that kind of game, do it discreetly!
As for the plate umpire, his odd-shaped strike-zone was called both ways. There was nothing about either officials' calls that were one sided or that affected the outcome of the game. LCC simply got shut down.
The district picture is now clear and it's clear that Jenkins is the much, much better team. They proved it, and LCC proved it, too. The only hope that LCC has in the district tournament is if the Lady Cavs let the wins go to their heads, otherwise it's cut and dry.

Nothing is cut in dried if it was why play the game?

Then let me clarify...Jenkins has proven to be the better team and they have the momentum on their side. LCC has played two straight games against Jenkins the same way with the same result and they failed to defeat Jenkins the first time around even with the Lady Cavs playing at their worst.
What I should have said was that the only chance LCC has is to step up and play ball and only hope that the Lady Cavs have let the wins go to their heads. Otherwise, it is cut and dry because the way LCC is playing right now they couldn't beat one of the better teams at Neon Little League.
It's sad that someone has been allowed to fashion together such a weak, cupcake schedule for the Lady Cougars and allowed them to get these meaningless blowout wins. The players learn nothing from these games except how to strut high until they face real competition. That is detrimental to the athlete and the experience and this practice should stop immediately. It's only hurting the team and it's not making them better ballplayers.

The Proper Thread Title would have been:
Jenkins 5 - LCC 0
To title it this was is a little self serving and does not follow the rules set by BGR to post scores.

guys please just accept the defeat. I am a cougars fan, but as the guy from Karate Kid said "It is ok to loose to a great competitor but it isn't ok to loose from fear". Instead of complaining, work on making your team better.

if you could, then why didn't you?
the offical called sucky calls both ways...
but you should never blame the officials.

They're talking about the pitch that was a little outside that should've been a ball. But was called a strike by the OFFICIAL. It wouldn't have mattered anyway.
