Summer Plans?

Summer's right around the corner! Anyone have any cool plans for the summer?

I'll probably spend most of mine hanging in Phelps since this is the last summer I have before I leave for college!
But I hope I get to go somewheres exciting!

I have 3 trips planned..And if you are a fan of baseball..Then get ready to be jealous..I am planning on a Louisville Slugger museum trip and planning on catching a Legends game in Lex and a Bats games in L-Ville..

Then I am planning a 4 day baseball trip to Chicago. In doing so, I will stop in Cincy and watch a game and then head on up to Chicago to watch a Cubs game and a White Sox game..

Then the dream trip to Boston..The Cadillac of all trips in my eyes..Still working out all of the stops..Minor League games to watch on the way..and museums and famous sports markers on the way...I could sit outside of Fenway and just breathe all the history in and be 100% happy. When ya got it..YA GOT IT!

I'm hopefully headed to Kings Island for a weekend in early June. I can't wait to ride that new roller coaster they put in this year. I also have tickets to the Reds White Sox game in mid June and I'm looking forward to that.

I am totally jealous of the baseball thing, cept I hate the Cubs and Red Sox. but it would be cool to go there to watch games. That's my life's dream is to go to all 30 baseball stadiums. lol

Oh yeah, and if you are a beach fan, then PREPARE TO BE JEALOUS. LOL
I am going to Fiji in June to get married on the beach and then have an 8 day honeymoon. So excited. It looks absolutely gorgeous there. Its pretty much a private island, no roads, only 7 cottages on the whole island. Not the main island in Fiji, its one of the smaller ones off to the south of the main island.

LOL I guess that's how me and my fiancee ended up together. We are both HUGE baseball fans. Cept he hates the Braves and the Braves are my team. He is an Astros fan.

On the way to Boston, you could hit a bunch of them.
Philly, Pittsburgh, Baltimore, and New York's two. Too bad old Yankee Stadium is gone now.

Im pretty sure Im sitting here. lol. I have just always been a sports nut, well baseball in particular.
It was fun those few years when the Astros and Braves played each other in the first round of the playoffs. My fiancee and I couldnt even watch it together because we probably wouldnt be heading to Fiji right now. LOL

Going to watch the Bats play this Wednesday and Thursday and going to visit the Louisville Slugger museum also and then a little golf at Shawnee.

Got to go to a Redsox game in Fenway about 4 years ago and thought it was awesome. Be sure to go on the Fenway park tour. You go through the private box/restuarant behind home plate, Bud deck out in right field and the ultimate atop the green monster. As I came out from the tour a dude asked if we wanted to buy tickets to the game the next day so I did. We sat just past the dugout down firstbase line about 20 rows back. As you said, to me it was the Cadillac of all trips.

I spontaneously went to KI with my fiancee on Sunday. And I have rode MANY MANY coasters, and Diamondback is probably my second favorite of all time. Even passes many of the ones in Cedar Point that I thought would never be passed. Everyone needs to thank their lucky stars that Cedar Fair has taken over Kings Island because the rest of Kings Island's rides suck. Diamondback is a pure Cedar Fair ride. Thank GOD!

My oldest son made a trip up there last year to see the stadium before it was torn down.

I'm guessing the trip ended up costing me more than it did him. I got my car back with no power steering and i had to replace the radiator as well. They hit a tire in a rainstorm in the middle of the night.:yikes:
