SF is a 1A school. He was a few yards shy of 1500 rushing and was i think #2 or #3 on KHSAA for 1A in rushing yards this year.

Yes, he was a good running back with good speed. Just got to get in the weight room and improve his strength..
I wonder if they redshirt him so they can get a little more size on him? The kid has got the speed and the intelligence..
Wish him the best..

I knew SF was 1A, I played against them all throughout my career at Paintsville ('99-'02). I would say that the redshirt possibility is likely, it's a whole different game from hs to college...best of luck!

congrats Kyle....I have talked to Kyle personally and he told me that he is more than likely going to be redshirted next season. i know that him and another player have been in the weight room ever since football season has been over and even before then they lifted after practice. but good luck at EKU Kyle

Once you enter college you have 5 years to use up 4 years of eligibility. If you participate in game action for one play it counts as one year. So, the term "redshirt" basically just means that he will sit out one of his 5 years, and play in the other four.
