The Sportsplex will be hosting the EKBA 2009 March Madness Basketball Tournament on March 7-8. The tournament is open to boys teams in all age divisions and girls teams in all age divisions. Side note:
The most poplular divisions in the past tournaments this year has been:
Boys 10u, 12u, 13u, & 14u
Girls 9u & 12u
I would like to see them get some more teams in other divisions, those listed above have been their most popular with boys 10u and girls 12u being their biggest, but they have had several tournaments with teams in other divisions which included one with 6u and it was exciting watching those little kids play in a tournament atmosphere. The 6u, 7u, and 8u divisions can be coed.
