yup, Its that time of year again. Ashland Comes off a big district win, and BC holding on to whats left...who will come out on top??
10-22-2005, 12:12 AM
This one isn't even worth talking about.
Maybe if Ashland only played their JV and under Boyd might be able to keep it close. LOL

Does anybody know who won the bc/gc game??

Boyd County won in the second half. I believe Greenup was up 7-6 at halftime. When I can get a final score I'll post it if I remember. I'm thinking but not sure that it was 34-13 or somewhere right close to there.

This is rivalry game and will always be closer than the talent and paper suggest. I just hope for a win for the Tomcats against a rival. Boyd County has the talent to explode at any time if they can bring it all together.

I was trying to find that out also.

I guess it hadn't updated. Thanks for the info on BC.

Big rivalry here. Borderline even on hatred, but I don't see this one being a classic like so many other games these two have played. Ashland will continue on their winning ways and prepare for the playoffs. Boyd will continue their ways and remain as one of the biggest diaspointments in Eastern Kentucky. After the Russell game people were calling them the team to beat in the district. I guess they were right. Boyd is the team everyone in the district beats.......

I see hart sparking some fire under his team and preparing em for regional play. :redboxer: :bounce:

and for something that anyone who does not know can no now is that boyd needs a LC lost to get into the playoffs either if boyd wins or looses against ashland. But still should be a firey game from ashland if they can come out like they did against JC.

See the tomcats moving on. Boyd CO. looked good early in the season but seems they may not have enough for the tomcat team. Good luck to both teams in all in the area.
