Maggie Wilson scored a game-high 20 points and Lexington Catholic pulled off a 69-62 upset at Montgomery County, which was ranked No. 2 in last week's Cantrall ratings and is No. 4 this week.
The Lady Knights (15-11) got off to a 9-0 start and led 17-8 by the end of the first quarter. The Indians (20-3) came back to take a 29-28 lead into halftime.
Lexington Catholic took back the lead on Wilson's three-pointer with 6:23 left in the third quarter and managed to stave off several comeback attempts by Montgomery in the second half.
Shaneque McGhee added 13 points and 12 rebounds for the Lady Knights, who bounced back from a disappointing stretch of three losses in five games by posting their biggest win of the season.
Lexington Catholic scored 23 points off 22 Montgomery turnovers, and held the Indians to 32.8 percent shooting from the field.

That explains a lot. That many turnovers could lose the game for any team but Lexington Catholic REALLY capitalized.
