JC will have to learn how to put two games in two nights togather, it is district time. Still have Paintsville this week. Good game to prepare on the road going down the stretch. Coach M will have them ready.

Wait, are you saying Pike Central is a great team, because if so then I must :thatsfunn. I mean really they need to play a lot better than what they have been lately, and I mean a lot better. I really hope this was in a joking manner and not meant to be serious.

Not trying to, I didn't ask anyone to discuss this, just a statement, it was brought up plenty of times that JC was THE contender to beat Valley, and it doesn't look like it, let's not say another word about this.

I haven't been impressed with PCC and I seen Paintsville beat them recently!

It simply appears that JC didn't show up. In fact, JC almost didn't show up against Paintsville Monday. Except for a brief 3rd quarter run, the game was dead even. JC has the weapons, but there is just something not right with this team?? There was turmoil on the bench during the Paintsville game and then they can't even get a win against PCC? I don't know what's up with JC, but this close to tourney time I wouldn't expect to see these problems. JC has a lot of experience and talent that isn't performing for whatever reason. PC_You_Know is right!! JC is supposed to be THE team to challenge Valley, but it isn't looking like it is going to be much of a challenge right now.

Get your heads on straight Eagles or you might as well get out your baseball gear!

Pike Central has looked like one of the weakest teams in the region all year. Their 6-17 record includes blowout losses by 31 (Henry Clay), 29 (Wayne Co.), 34 (McCreary Co.), and 23 (Pulaski Co.). Closer to home, they have lost by 47 to Shelby Valley, by 23 to Pikeville, and lost twice to Paintsville.

Then they go out and knock off the consensus #2 team in the region. Where has this team been all season?

WOW !!!! trying not to be harsh ...........?????? Here goes.... WHY coach M ??? just had to go and do it didn't you. Thanks. Way to show a team that you care, and way to teach a little boy a lesson. I listened and it appears that YOU gave it to them. Everyone is asking when the team is finally gonna show up....... I will ask when A COACH is ever gonna show. PITIFUL. I am sorry for the kids that played well and had to sit back and watch the passy be placed in the mouth of TWO, At least you didn't start him :eek: I PERSONALLY challenge COACH M to finish this season and do the right thing. Everyone that is saying Johnson Central didnt show up tonight is highly mistaking. Pike Central played a fairly good game and shot the ball extremly well in the second half. Johnson Central had and 8 point lead I think it was going into the half and Pike Central began chipping away at that during the second half. Pike Central won this one with the transition game, they ran the floor on offense very well especially Gross who had two dunks in the first half. Not to mention they did very well getting back on defense after missed shots and turnovers. Still not playing to their potential but are finally coming together. Congrats to PC on the win.

It seems as if Pike Central is a much better team than their record shows. Maybe they will be able to pull off a few more upsets this season.

Come on PC quit dreaming, you caught the Eagles down. If you are that good go and beat the SV team you love, I will be your number 1 fan!

Coach M will have to do what Matney did to be suceesful at JC, run off the alumni coaches, do not listen to the bleacher coaches and do not cater to parents. Just play the best kids and win, it is that simple. I think Caoch M has taken steps in that direction.

I think some of the JC bashers will be sick if this teams ever put it togather, some know this and dread them. It is time to do it!

IMO the biggest problem with JC is that half the teams daddies stay on this site and moan about their kids playing time. Leave the coach alone and let him do his job. He doesn't come to your work and tell you how to do things, that is if some of you guy's work.

Here is the thing, look at Pike Central's record at home. They aren't a bad team at home. They are athletic and when they hit shots they are a pretty decent team.
