Last season's offensive coordinator and well-known Louisvillian Jeff Brohm will be leaving the University of Louisville football program, head coach Steve Kragthorpe announced today.

Brohm has taken a coaching position at another school, the name of which is expected to be announced later today.

Kragthorpe said Brohm was give the option of staying with the U of L football program in a 'non-coaching' role, though he would not elaborate further.

Kragthorpe said that he will take over offensive play calling for the upcoming season.

"I will call every single play," he said. "After the Kentucky game I felt like I needed to get more involved in the play calling."

Brohm's departure means that U of L has lost both its offensive and defensive coordinators. Ron English, last year's defensive coordinator, resigned earlier this year to become head coach at Eastern Michigan.

Kragthorpe made it clear that no single player or coach was responsible for last season's woes.
