Calvary Christian athletic director Jody Hilsher said the bus is filling up and the T-shirt orders are rolling in as the school community prepares for its boys' basketball appearance in the Touchstone Energy All "A" state tournament Thursday.

"Obviously for our school, it's been tremendous," coach John Vander Meer said. "It's a first for us. Our kids, faculty and staff and the church community are really excited about it."

The school will hold a pep rally Thursday morning before Calvary Christian plays Pineville at 5 p.m. at Eastern Kentucky University the same day.

"The students will come in dressed in their Cougar 'Red and Gold' and then the rest of the school will be dismissed half-day for those who want to attend the game," Hilsher said.

The Cougars (11-6) won their first Touchstone Energy 10th Region All "A" tournament title on Saturday with a 58-54 win over Deming at Nicholas County.......................
