I would consider a Chihuahua, a dachshund (wiener dog), a toy pinscher, boston terrier or maybe a rat terrier. I’m only interested in pure breed dogs. No mutts! Most dacshund mini's usually cost around 300 papered. I actually found some in west liberty that was ckc registed for 175-200 that probably about as cheap as your gonna find a doxie that is where my last one came from. They are great dogs I have 3 doxie mini's

I just bought a mini dachshund too. I found her on www.kijiji.com . I gave $200 for her... she doesn't have papers but was exactly what we were looking for.
