Hazard comes out and dominates from start to finish. I was a little scared att he beginning but the defense showed up and its a perfect time for that as well. Paintsville is a very good team i want to congradulate them for a good season and i believe coach kinner will have a very good coaching career.

Nice start for the Tigers! But they just haven't seemed to be able to string much together this year against the better teams.
Anyway, it was a fairly good year for Coach Kinner with a very tough schedule that he inherited. I think his coaching career will be defined by how well he does over the next few seasons. With the revolving door of coaches at Paintsville over the past few years, these kids have had to play continually under a new boss and really never got settled in to a system IMO. I think the future is good for the Tigers!
Hazard is a great team and should go far if they keep the intensity! Hope they make it to Beechwood but I don't think anyone will get past the Beechwood Tigers! Good luck though!

Hazard obviously didn't dominate from start to finish, we went to the locker room with a 8 point lead. Hazard and Pikeville both have been coming out strong at the right time!!
Cant wait till next week to see this one should be exciting!!

What game were you watching??? Paintsville never had an 8 point lead. They scored the first TD, 6-0, then Hazard took off and never looked back.

Dawgs also have a bite... As many have said Paintsville district very poor...

Where is cj with his posts. I guess he can not find much to say about Olinger since he played really well last night. I predicted in the thread leading up to this game that this would be a tune up for Hazard. District 8 is just really weak all around this year. I look for Hazard to do pretty close to the same next week. Harmon may break his usual 2 to 3 long runs, but I think Hazard will contain them pretty well and the offense is looking strong.

Great game Dawgs!!!! Keep it up and beat Pikeville !!!
GOOOOO DAWGS!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

Campbell played really well last night from the way it looked on Sports Overtime.

Knew this one could get out of hand if Paintsville didn't keep Olinger contained in the pocket. He's far too dangerous with his feet to let him roll out and improvise. He isn't the most accurate passer, but has a strong arm to throw deep on broken routes.
Good win for Hazard... and for Paintsville, I think brighter days are ahead.

Very nice post. I would also like to add that I am as proud of this group of Tigers as I have been any of the rest. These boys have worked hard for Coach Kinner & I just wish he could have had them for the entire 4 years. I believe many of our Seniors would have been 4 year Tigers & this makes all the difference in the world to a program. I also want to say that I hope everyone returns for next season and that the ones, who have promised to play, honor their word. Tiger Football is regenerating and being a part of something as exciting as that can make memories ... I know we certainly have memories that will last a lifetime from just this season! Good Luck to all teams advancing! ~annnd as usual GO BIG BLUE we'll be there for you next year!!

Olinger pass it all over the field. When he just pick two WR. he have a bad game. He best WR is #5 Michael Campbell. When he get that in his head. He play like he did friday night, when he don't he play like he did again LCA last 2 games. But over all QB he not that good. Hazard just trying to make the Olinger look better then they are. The best Olinger was brothers Payne and Jonathan Olinger.

I find this tough to believe that you think Olinger is not that good at QB. I am not even from Hazard, but have got to watch him several times. I know everyone has good and bad games, and when you are QB, everything is multiplied because of the responsibility put on them, but this kid can play. I know a lot of teams who would love to have him. I wont argue about who the best Olinger was, because I dont know. I do know that one time someone told me back in the late 80's that Carl Wallace was kin to the Olingers and he was something to watch.

I thought Olinger was getting looks from colleges , if he isn't any good then he definately wouldn't be getting looks. But ive seen him a couple of times, 2 years ago i think they were playing danville and last year against cumberland and he looked pretty good to me. And i dont no who the best olinger is i think jon went on to play at cinncinatti or something like that but thats two different positions so you really cant compare

Cj You Need To Lay Off Of Tyler You Dont Know What Your Talking About. He Is A Fantastic High School Qb. The Dawgs Have Done Well With Tyler As Their Qb.

The only thing that will get me to change my mine about him. He will have to have a few good games in a big game. This week is not really a big game. Until he can do that, he is like every other QB from Hazard. Also if he is a good QB, way did he have a bad season. He have a few games with less then 100 yards passing. With a team that is 50/50 pass run. That is bad.

Cj How Are You Such A Expert On Quarterbacks. I Think Tyler Has Led Hazard To Plenty Of Big Wins. Did You Play Qb In High School If So How Did You Do.

ok first off he was hurt in the beggining of the year. Middle of the year he only had 1 receiver because everyone else was out . they are just now getting were they need to be. and how do you no if he is a leader or not? your not in the huddle with them. last year they were 50/50 and they did really good but this year is not last year and they arn't 50/50 now theyve play alot of games when it was wet or raining so that has limited them throwing the ball. if you ask me it sounds like u just dont like him:moon:
