Looks pretty good to me cj. P'burg maybe too high after the recent struggles.

This is my pet peeve.
Belfry was #1 in the mountains and despite winning every game they played, Bell County and JC both jumped them. The apparent reasonw as because Belfry had not "beaten anyone". Belfry now defeats Johnson Central yet they do not reclaim their spot? Doesn't make sense to me.
#5
And Bell has played anyone? Class 4A is the weakest Class in football. Bell has played no one. Can't wait for them to get destroyed by Boyle.

1. Belfry
2. JC
3. Bell

Could it be its because Bell Co. has only given up 21 points all year long?
#7
They should have had 0 against their schedule.

Possibly, but I just don't see the logic of dropping a team who keeps winning that finished the past 4 years as the #1 team in the mountains.

Whitley County
Knox Central
Rockcastle County
Sheldon Clark...

There is no denying that their schedule is not as weak as you think, all 4 of these teams would be considered "quality".

I don't know what you smoking. But Bell Co. was the preseason #1. And they stay there all seasosn. Belfry was #2.

1. Belfry

3. Bell

If Bell has play no one. Then who has Belfry and JC play. The best teams JC had play is Breathitt Co, Hazard and Belfry. Belfry who Holy Cross.

"Belfry play JC. That who they play. Don't know what you smokin cuz Belfry play JC other night."

At the end of last year, Belfry was number one. Somehow over the summer, they get demoted to 2008 preseason number 2. They do not lose, and JC jumps them. Now, Belfry is back to number 2. Of course, if you throw in the big preseason scrimmage where JC dominated Bell and then Belfry beat JC, then.....Nah ain't even gonna go there, Wink Smile

What I find very funny is that sheldon clark has lost to #1 bell and #2 belfry and they are no where to be found on this list...yeah i no they played a real bad game against paintsville this friday but how are they suppose to play good when even their own fans say that they arent no good this year...So IMO i believe sheldon clark should be on the top 10

First of all..it wasn't as if Sheldon Clark lost clsoe gams to bell and Belfry, both teams dominated SC and had their starters pulled in the 4th Quarter.

Secondly, SC has only one decent win on the season, that was Perry Central.

Bell lost 5 seniors how many did Belfry lose? That was 07 this is 08.

When was Belfry ranked #1 this year??? Really don't matter right now. Belfry is the only team JC has played and vise versa. Bell has played Rock, Knox and Whitley. Either one would come close or beat Belfry of JC especially Whitley.

1. Belfry
2. JC
3. Bell

I usually dont let people's comments aggrivate me to much but this kinda got on my nerves alittle. Let me guess I bet u think that 3A is the strongest of the six classes. The last 4 games ya I would aggree so would all our Bell Co.'s coaches. But to take away from what these teenage young men have accomplished is very selfish and classless of anyone to do. PERIOD!!!!!:redboxer:

By the way, I am glad to see our Bell County faithful dont get on here and make classless statesments such as this one.

That fixures then, I really wished we could play them in a regular game this year. The point would then be made on how much emphasises we DO NOT put on a scrimmage. But then again, BELFRY already made that point for us.

boyle will beat bell...

Boyle and its fans should probably be worring about Lex. Cath. well actually probably should take them one game at a time and have some class and not put that added pressure on the kids and there coaches.
#22
I agree with this except for Prestonsburg. They should not even be in the top 10.
#23
At this point in the season, who even cares about the mtn. top 10? Really?? What does it matter?
#24
Leonardo- you made me laugh. PRESTONSBURG SHOULD BE IN THIS. Their a good team, their classy, and have a good coaching staff. I take offense how people talk about Prestonsburg. Everything We've won, we've earned obviously! Go PRESTONSBURG!
#25
Bell is a solid team year after year. Boyle is back.

So, by your logic you are implying that Bell and Belfry wins account for eachother. Sure Belfry beat JC, and Belfry made their point, Bell hasn't.

We are not talking about playing Boyle Co. on Log Mountain. We are taking one game at a time...and Lawrence Co. is on the docket for this week. Boyle fans seem to be relying on the fact that they "destroyed Lexington Catholic", I believe by 14-11???? If I were the Rebels, I would not look beyond Lex Catholic. I believe the rematch may be more than they bargained for!

JC is no one. Belfry didn't play anyone there. But JC did play someone. That was JC change to show Eastern Kentucky. That there was for real. And they blow it.

Yeah a 9-1 team doesn't deserve to be in the mountain top 10. Rolleyes

Well, I know for sure that Bell has contacted JC wanting to play next year. JC has not responded. But this year, its not going to happen, so u can keep on living in your scrimmage world and live happily ever after, after all you all only have a few weeks till the birds come to town and rain on your parade!!!!!
