He threw for 320+ yards and never play in the second half. Plus he surpassed the mark for 100 touchdown passes in his career.

Morgan County you guys hang in there my hat off to all the kids in that program that are toughing this rough couple years out. Have fun work hard and you'll turn it around.
So many of the good teams that are playing good now went through similar type seasons I remember Clay county a few years back went through a winless season, but they've bounced back and seem to be turning it all around.

Is it true that half of the team quit for Morgan? A buddy of mine from Morgan said he had heard that but didn't know if it was a fact or not. Can you speculate as to if there is any truth to this or not?

I don't recall Clay ever having a winless season. I could be wrong but Clay has been good dating back to 1988 as I can recall.

Well, Morgan County started out the season with at least 40+ players, but as of late, only have around 16, and I guess it is due to the lack of wins and the fact that each game we've played has scored at least 20+ points over our own score. However, our Middle School football team is pretty good and made it to the semi-finals in the middle school state tournament so hopefully this will lead to a much brighter future.

Coach Steps first season at Clay County the tigers didn't win a game and the roster got terribly thin. I can't remember what year that was.

Morgan was pretty good in the late 80's when Allen was their qb.

True, and many forget about the teams that we had in the 70's as well and to my knowledge, the only playoff win in Morgan's history was against Mercer County in the 2005 playoffs (I played on the team is the only reason I know that). But, nonetheless, Allen was a great qb, and most around here in Morgan tell me he would've been better if he had had better receivers but that can be said for any qb.
