On CNN at this moment a airplane's landing gear wont come out and they have to make an emergency landing at 8:25....Emergeny workersare prepared.
Its in Los Angeles....the front left wheels are turned sideways and they cant retract so they had to turn back to do an emergeny landing I hope all goes well...

There also talking about a tornado in Minneapolis right now

A tornado headed towards downtown Minneapolis, a plane that cant land in California, the 3rd largst category 5 hurricane in recorded history...:eek:

A AWESOME job by the pilots of this flight. I have flown on Jet Blue before and I couldn't imagine watching all of this on live TV if I was on that plane. Happy ending to this story and the flight crew are heros IMO.

Pilots should be considered heros for what they overcame in this situation. They handled it just fine and shoudl receive some kind of regonition for it.

I watched this last night as well.
Awesome job by the pilots.
Took a long time to bring it down and it made everyone get nervous but it was well worth the long planned because everyone is safe now.

TongueoliceLig I heard that the pilot told the mayor he was sorry for the plane being 6 inches off of the white line. The crew did a great job

He did an amazing job handling a situation that wasn't taught in school.

yea who cares if he missed the white line... the point is everyone is safe!
