The only problem is the AP guys forgot Louisville Central. They are the real #1 team in 3-A. They get no respect because the AP guys look at their record and not who they lost too.

Fair warning though don't do that. JC drilled Louisville Central last year.
However I really don't think this Louisville Central team is as good as last years team, its offense seems to be struggling. The win over Etown and loss to Western wasn't impressive. Louisville Holy Cross beat Etown as bad as Central. But time will tell.

I agree. The east is most definately stacked with 3 or 4 teams that i think can beat Beechwood.

ROFL, last year Central was 6-4 and were ranked #1 by a lot of the AP most of the season until Belfry beat JC, and even then only because JC had beaten LC.

Lou. Central gets a lot of respect. They're the only team in the top 10 with 2 losses, and that's because their schedule is so tough. However, they've had 2 off weeks, and it's simply not logical for them to be ranked #1 when there are 3 other teams in 3A who haven't lost a game yet. Besides, these mid-season ranks(edit: and who has been beaten by who) mean jack. It's all about who wins at the pizza box. Us Belfry fans can tell you all about that...

I do. LCA is down this year!

Green Co. Scrimaged LCA and played Hazard so I've got to watch both teams play the same team. If Campbell #5 plays I think Hazard is the better team. They are FAR more physical and better on Defense than LCA. I know Green Co. does have a good offense, but LCA couldn't come close to stopping them. I think the size and strength of Hazards linemen on both sides of the ball will wear down LCA

I think any 4 of the contenders from the East have a very good chance of beating Central. I'm still sticking to my prediction that they get upset before then.

I have to agree. Beechwood is the most impressive team other than St.X I have seen all year and they are 1A with about as many players as St.X. LOL What does that tell you. Beechwood has two good backs, good QB, and maybe the best line in the state. Very good ball team.

dore20 Wrote:I dont see Hazard getting past LCA

They should, the recruiting has not been so good since they got caught.
#22
Beechwood 5TD's better than Raceland.
#23
Middlesboro ranked 7th in State in 2A but not in Mountain Top 10, what a freakin joke!!!!!!!!!!!
#24
Beechwood looked like crap on TV and Raceland would give them fits if they played....
Romans 14:11
It is written: " 'As surely as I live,' says the Lord, 'every knee will bow before me; every tongue will confess to God.' "
#25
LCA, Raceland and Williamsburg are all in one bracket so that means two of those teams are going to be sitting at home eventually during the playoffs. I am not down grading district 7 and 8 but the pikeville district is way down and i really dont see anyone competing with hazard in those two districts. So Hazard will come out of those districts.
#26
yea lou central should be ranked 2nd sc 3rd and belfry 1st

They played a pretty solid 4-2 Cov. Cath team on TV too.
#28
Williamsburg, i been saying this since the preseason. Don't over look Williamsburg. I think they can beat LCA and Raceland. and on the other side it is Hazard. Beechwood Vs Hazard.

I'm not sure that you are correct. I think that another less reputable Internet site had them #1 until the JC game. Check it and I think you will find that you are wrong.

I see your point and you have changed my mind. Belfry #1
#30
belfry wins there's, hazard runner up, lcc goes semi state, bell co wins state, and prestensburg goes semi state
