I have not heard about that? I do know that this district is full of suprizes. I think if LCC can handle Whitley upcoming then they will go to the regionals again. The biggest factor and i cannot speak for Whitley because i have not seen much of them is this!! All the teams are inconsistent and seem to blow up when its all on the line. Which ever team can stay focused and play together when it all comes to head is the team that is going to regionals. IMO that will likely be LCC and i base that on Hillard Howards coaching abilty. He has definetely got credentials as opposed to the others. What will tell all though is how they handle Whitley and that will be soon. The Cougars go into the game and have hiccups and Whitley will down them like the Titanic.

That's not exactly the reason he is hurt but i'm sure it didn't help anything. He hurt his knee in the Hazard game and played the entire game with his knee hurt, hopefully he will be back soon. I hope the 'Dores can regain their composure and get back on track, congrats to Whitley.

Dislocated his knee against Hazard....Shocked on the outcome of this game. PCC must have not came to play tonight. Congrats Whitley, District is wide-open now!

Whitley County is a real good team, They have some real good running back's and big lineman.

If they don't want to be on the road in the first round, they better start winning. As of right now LCC is #2, PCC #3 and clay #4.

This has to be one of the mosst evenly matched districts in the state any one can win on any given night which makes for some AWESOME football. I can't wait till Friday when Whiley comes to Letcher Co. I think Whitley has to be considered the fav. But I think Howard and the cougars will pull it out. Should be a great game.

No the way it is . PCC beat LCC . Whitley beat PCC. Out of these 3 it goes Whitley, PCC , LCC, LCC beat clay, If Whitley can beat LCC they will be #1 . IF PCC beats Clay they will be #2 and Clay would be #3. Thinking Whitley will beat Clay. Now if Whitley cannt beat LCC or Clay then PCC could be #1. This dist will not be set till the last games are played. And yes PCC QB was out had a Freshmen at the QB . Not saying anything about Whitley they are a very good team whice pcc knew that going into these game. hats off to them they keep perry offense off the field. QB Amis will be back next week for the clay game . The coaches felt like it would be better to let him set out for one game then to take a chance on the whole season. Whitley has there hands full going on the road to LCC. It isnt easy winning at LCC

PCC, LCC, and Clay is all 1-1, that mean it go with the tie-breaker rules. And LCC get more points then PCC. the teams that you beat, ever team that they won u get one point from them. LCC got 8 or 9 points, PCC got 5, Clay got 1 or 2.

First, as of right now, all 3 teams have a District Loss. PCC still has to play Clay Co this Friday so, therefore, one of these two teams will have 2 losses. Also, Whitley is playing LCC this week. Which if LCC loses they will have two losses. If Whitley loses, they will have 1. Personally, I think LCC will win this matchup. Whitley still has to play Clay. If Clay loses, they will have 3 losses if PCC wins. First tie breaker is head-to-head competition. For example, if it's a tie between PCC and LCC then PCC wins because they won the regular season game. If it's a solid 3-way tie then you would go to points of the offense. Then if there were to be a tie there, it would go to defensive points allowed. Which personally, I do not see a 3-way tie regardless of who it is. At the most, it will be a 2-way tie and then the tiebreaker would be based on head to head.
