IMAGINE THAT! ROCK BOTTOM! It never, ever stops in CIncy! I heard they were going to try and talk Dexter Manley out of retirement....

This signing implies that Chris Perry has been the main problem for the team's offensive struggles. He hasn't.
The offense has struggled and will continue to do so as long as the offensive line plays as poorly as they have. They open very few holes for Perry to run through, and it won't be any different no matter who is doing the running.
Come to think of it, the only holes I see created are when the other team's defense is running through so they can drill Carson Palmer...

Well he has had legal issues in the past when he was with the Bears. Leave it to the Bengals to sign him.

More.....I think the signing implies that they are paper thin at running back. With Dorsey gone for the season and Watsons status up in the air, I don't think they had a choice. They could have brought James Johnson up from the practice squad but I'm not sure they were ready to throw him into the fire. They could have signed Shaun Alexander but I think theres a league wide concern about his leg.
I agree with your statement about the offensive line. You need not look any farther to see what their problem is on offense. I don't think Carson, Chad and TJ woke up one morning and forgot how to play. Also, Brats playcalling has been terrible. But that too could be a direct result of the O-lines inability to do their job. If ur QB is getting killed it limits what you can call.
