The fake punt killed Kc had that not happen maybe a different outcome.

Besides the fake punt, Merrick had 46 yd. average on two punts; a well conceived and executed pro-style onside kick, and forced Panthers to start on the 20 three other times with kicks out of endzone for touchbacks.

KC pretty much beat themselves..I'm definitly not taking nothing away from this Bell Co team. They did a great job. But KC fumbled at the goal line (would have tied the game 7-7) and fumbled inside their own 20 (Bell ran it in to make it 14-0) It was very similar to the Corbin game. Congrats Bell on a great win. However, the Panthers need to start taking better care of the ball.

Glad Bell got the win but I was not that impressed with our gameplan on either side of the ball. On offense we were very bland and unimaginative. Defense looked like they had not practiced against KC's formations at all. Hilton, Harbin and Lawson kept them in the game on defense. This team better find some leadership in a hurry. Last years team was much more disciplined than this version.

Also I respect the KC program but I thought they really bordered on being cheap or dirty on a lot of occasions. I would not think Coach Mills would teach such things. Those are the type of plays that get you penalties in big games and the playoffs. If they are going to compete for district titles they will have to get those things fixed.

This is basically the same game plan we have seen the last three years against KC. Scored 22; 22; AND 21 pts. respectively. Dudley does not like to show much before the Rockcastle game every year. They were there with clipboards in hand scouting the game.

Congrats to Bell. Is Merrick healthy now?

This is the same game plan everyone sees. Why would you need a clipboard in hand, because their is nothing else to show.Every since I played, everyone has said that Coach don't want to show alot before a big game. The offense is simple:run, run, throw; but if the running is there why stop.
