AC's 3 backs had good running nights- just guessing- I would say they each rushed for 100+. Jackson had 2 TD's (rushing), Stumbo had 1 TD( reception) , L. Crowder 2 TD's (rushing)and H. Crowder 1 TD (rushing).
AC picked off a couple of MC passes- Tanner Walker had 1 interception, L. Crowder stripped the ball out of MC's hands to run back one touchdown early in the game. I believe he created a second turnover in the same way. Prater also had an inteception. Blake Salisbury played a nice game on D- recovering 1 fumble and got in the backfield pretty often to pressures Magoffin's QB, also had a number of tackles. Both Crowder's, Cory Conn and Marty Dye had big games on D- quite a few solo tackles from each. Max Turner- dressing in his first game of the season- had a few to his credit.
I'm sure I've left someone out- but that is not intentional. AC won as a team and that's want counts in the end.
Work hard in the upcoming week guys. Keep working- and Keep believing.

I wasn't expecting a blowout for either team. I thought this would be a close game. Allen Central must be better than I thought. Congrats, guys! Keep workin hard and take it one game, one snap, at a time!

AC may actully have the talent to compete with the sronger teams in the district.
The Crowder boys could play football anywhere in the state and still contribute imo.

Allen Central has a good team dont get me wrong, but this game could have been so much closer. Magoffin county showed up not ready to play at all, from the moment they stepped off the bus their heads were everywere except the game at hand. A few bad snaps, and some rushes on the QB lead to several turnovers from magoffin county. You better believe that Magoffins head coach, McCoy, is going to be making some changes this week at practice. The players are going to have to make some serious attitude adjustments if they want to compete with Pike County Central next friday night. The best of luck goes out to the Rebels and the Hornets.

AC has tons of momentum heading into their next matchup @ home against Phelps. The Crowders and Justin Jackson in the backfield have been solid to start the season. Nice to see AC did the same against MC as South Floyd did the week prior - taking advantage of MC turnovers and errors. The big difference between those games is the fact that AC put Magoffin away, unlike South Floyd did.
Looks as if Allen Central has a great shot at being (3-0) heading into their Week 4 matchup with Paintsville. The Tigers will be prepared for the Rebels running attack, so hopefully AC can use the Phelps game to develope some surprises for the Tigers.
Good luck to AC and it's great to see you guys off to a solid start.

Congrats to Allen Central.

Wow Allen Central looked really good last night. Yeah Magoffin County did make some critical mental mistakes but AC did what good teams do and that was capitalize on those mistakes. Rebels looked awesome on both sides of the ball especially the running game with the Crowders and Justin Jackson just running over and around the whole MC defense. Congrats to Allen Central on the 2-0 start, stay focused, believe and keep up the good work!

Heard that MC's running back #1 Helton- suffered some bruised ribs (I assume during Friday's game). Any word on how he is doing? U sure hate to see any player injured - especially this early in the season. Best wishes on a speedy recovery.
