Manny Ramirez traded to Dodgers in 3 way deal...
#1
The terms of the deal: Los Angeles gets Ramirez, Boston receives Jason Bay and Pittsburgh obtains Andy La Roche, Brandon Moss, Craig Hansen and a minor league pitcher from the Dodgers.

I am seriously starting to hate the **** Red Sox. I have went from pulling for them in the '04 series, to flat out hating them in four years. Im sick of the Pirates trading anybody that can hit the ****in ball out of the park every year to help teams like Boston, and for what? Another season below .500, and an empty future ahead. Being a Pirates fan on days like this is so **** hard. I loved Bay and Nady, and where do they go? Boston and New York. I hope one day, that I get to see Boston and NY battle for LAST.

Well TH32..This is a great day for me and IMO for all Red Sox fans..I hated Manny as I think he is just bad for the game. He made $13,000 an inning. I always liked Jason Bay and TH32, this now gives a player like Bay a real chance to win and for the Red Sox to see him as the replacement for a player who DID produce like Manny, I thought was special! I know he was your favorite Pirate, but IMO, the Pirates had BY FAR, the best trades. Getting Hanson and Moss are 2 VERY GOOD players from the Red Sox and Andy Laroche is going to be a stud in which they received from the Dodgers!

Being a diehard Red Sox fan I have some mixed emotions about all of this. Sad to see Manny go, hes one of my all time favorite players and despite all of his antics and "Manny being Manny" he is one of the games greatest hitters and will help the Dodgers out tremendously. But I am excited to see Jason Bay coming in to Boston. Has always been a great talent in Pittsburgh and hopefully will bring some much needed life into the Nation.

Bay has hit more Homers than Manny this year and he can field without all the distractions manny gave us i think Boston might be better off without him IMO

IMO the Pirates are always looking to the future, it's never about this season it's always about building for next season. They need to have a sense of urgency and try and finish above .500 next season because they can't do it this year, this year is already wasted. TH32 the Reds could always use another fan they'll finish better than the Pirates from now on because ot a bunch of young studs in Volquez, Bruce, Votto,Hopper,Cueto and more!Smile
