The 2008 Junior/Senior College Showcase will be held at Pikeville High School on August 2nd starting at 10:00 a.m. Registration will begin at 9:30 a.m. the day of the showcase. The showcase is also open to 2008 unsigned seniors. The cost is $50 per player. Over 20 NAIA schools have be invited to attend the showcase. Among those are:

4. Bluefield College
5. Brescia College
6. Bryan College
7. Covenant College
8. Indiana University Southeast
9. King College
10. Kentucky State
11. Lee University
12. Malone College
13. Milligan College
14. Montreat College
15. Pikeville College
16. Southern Virginia University
17. Shawnee State
18. Tennessee Wesleyan
19. Union College
20. UVA at Wise
21. Virginia Intermont
This is a great opportunity for kids who are not looking to go D1 and have a shot at playing at the NAIA level. For more information you can go to www.pc.edu/athletics/baseball and look for the link for the baseball showcase. Below is the form you will need to register for the showcase.

For graduating years 2009 and 2010
This showcase is designed to give high school players in Eastern Kentucky and surrounding areas a chance to display their baseball abilities. It is for high school players graduating in 2009 or 2010 that are looking to play at the college level. Each player will have the opportunity to show his skill in defense, hitting, arm strength, pitching, catching and speed.
We would like for players to pre-register, but it is not mandatory. All players that pre-register will receive a free t-shirt the day of the showcase. A list of players that pre-register will be sent to all coaches that are invited to attend the showcase. I am prepared to offer college scholarships to any players that I feel can help my program. At least 20 other NAIA college coaches and pro scouts will be invited to the showcase. Please return this sheet along with a check for $50 to the address listed below. Make checks out to Don Ashby. If you want to attend the showcase just show up Saturday morning around 9am. We have changed the location to the city/pikeville high school field. We will also do a video of the showcase so that the players will have it to send out to colleges. IT IS THIS SATURDAY AUGUST 2, 2008.
