I've had this one little problem for a while now.. and it's killing me.. My dvd player won't work for some reason.. and now i can't play games with fmv sequences in it.. i can download videos and they work great, but if i pop a dvd in or game its like it skips horribly.. But a music cd will work fine in the drive.. any help would be appreciated.

At least your's will load up... mine wouldn't even do that until earlier so I had to hit it with the recovery disc which I hated because it wiped off alot of my stuff...lol

You still havent got that fixed?? I think I talked to about it before. The laser needs calibrating. Meaning it needs to be adjusted closer to the cd.. I hace seen many PS2s Dvd players do the same thing. They stop or barely read the DVD format and read the CD Format perfectly. I told you if you bring it to me I would fix it. IF you come this way bring it with you and I fix it..
