Pikeville would beat them if they played today but SV did out pass them.

Are you talking about Pikeville playing Shelby Valley?

Yeah I think that Pikeville would beat Shelby Valley but as I was telling my friend when we watch SV beat Pikeville passing the other day is that when the pads go on things are different and Pikeville is a running team this season.

I think Pikeville would win for sure. Pikevilles kids are always in the best condition. They hit the weight room hard. I think thats what puts Pikeville at the top year and year out. Their kids are so strong from commitment to the weight room during off season.

I think Pikeville has a very tough schedule this year but I'm think they will come out 8-2. What do you think?

Hey how does Morehead's football team look this year. I haven't followed the eagles since they moved to the pioneer league.

They got alot of speed from what Im seeing. Im just worried though how it will effect the coach and the team losing a teammate.
Coach Ballards son that also played for Morehead was recently killed in a motorcycle accident. God bless the Ballard family. Coach Ballard is a great man.
I hope the kids play hard for him and dedicate the season to Matthew Ballard..

Thats so sad to hear about they young kids losing their lives. I watched Morehead a few times when they had David Dinkins but I'm mainly into high school football. Then, you get to watch football because of the love for the game and not the business side of it. I learned in college that its too much business involved. I will have to keep Ballard in my prayers. Thanks for the info.
