I have no idea of who the team wants to beat...I would imagine they would like to win them all. But, my personal choice is mostly of Prestonsburg, Ironton, Pikeville & Henry Clay.

Valley probably wants to get a win over eastridge and would love to beat Letcher being that Coach Howard's father coaches there and Valley would love to get a win over Belfry.

they will get the win over LCC and probly east ridge that has the potintal to be a good game it just depends but id say valley wins but they wont get belfry but this would probly be there best chance in a long time but it wont happen there still belfry.

u seem pretty sure they will make it to the state semi finals, cuz thats the only way pikeville will play them
i hope everyone on the team isnt cocky enough to be sure they will make it that far, or they will get a slap right in the face

After a scuffle between Letcher Co. Central and Shelby Valley at camp, I would say Shelby Valley is who we want to beat the most.

bein a lil cocky isnt a bad thing.... but some ppl take it a lil to far and do get a good slap or two, but we keep it in check 8)

For Ashland it's either Russell or Ironton. We badly need to beat Ironton, they have dominated us for a while now.

East Ridge wants to beat any one that they can in my opinion..Not had a strong team yet so we will see..

But if I had to pick I would say Valley or South Floyd..

My personal pick for Ashland would have to be Ironton. Ashland has not won this game since their 1990 state championship team although the teams have met every season since then. An added incentive for Ashland this year is the fact that it will be atleast a few years until they we will be able to play Ironton again because Ironton is joining a new conference and it causes too many scheduling problems to continue the rivalry right away.

For Pike Central it would have to be Belfry in the combination of Pike Central, Johns Creek, and Mullins none have beat Belfry JC and PC have came close i think a total of 2 times but neither one has came home with the cigar.

Ironton dominates just about everyone they play.. I would also love to see a KY team beat them.

I want a piece of Ironton, we havent beat them since 1990, and this is our last year playing them, there entering a new conference and had to drop us, and the game is at Historic Putnam Stadium, so that makes it that much more meaningful, if we win.

I would say South Floyd would like to beat Lynn Camp considering they beat them almost every year in the playoffs.

As a Belfry fan:
1.Prestonsburg- Mainly because it is a district game with huge ramifications on the playoffs.
2.Ironton- Just to get that dang monkey off our back of only beating them one dang time.
3.Pikeville-You always wanna beat little brother... haha Just Kidding Pikeville.
4.Henry Clay- Don't see it happening..but a win over a top 10 4A school with 18 starters returning would really set the tone for the season.
5. Shelby Valley- Just because every year they talk about how this is the year they turn it around and beat Belfry...I like the sense of domination over Pike County 2A. It's also the last game of the regular season.
