On 4/11 & 4/12 '08 LCHS traveled to western Ky to play in the Franklin-Simpson Tournament. In pool play on 4/11 they got beat by Portland, Tn 7-1. It was Lc's 4th game of the season and Portland 15th game. Then on 4/12 Murray won 7-3 putting Lc as the last seed for bracket play. Lc then beat #2 seed North Bullitt and #1 seed Warren Central to bring home the trophy. A good weekend for the team as they played against very well coached and disciplined teams. They play East Ridge on 4/14 at 4:30 at lawrence and Johnson Central 4/17 Thur at Lawrence at 5:30. They then will travel to the Cumberland Falls tourney on Fri the 18th.
