Anyone into stocks?

I am thinking about buying some penny stocks and see where they get me. Does anyone here own stocks? If so which ones? And what website do you use to trade on?

I'd say your best bet would be to hire an accountan or see a stock broker.. They might take a certain percentage, but they will help you invest in the right thing, and it'll help you learn a lot about the stock market.

I tried to do some stock stuff with different websites but all of them wanted like 1,000 bucks

Well see, I'm trying to buy a bunch of penny stocks. Like stocks that are selling for 2-3 cents right now, but will hopefully go up to a few bucks or more. The profit would be amazing and it does happen quite often.

I dont blame ya GF.. Its a good way to become familier with investing.. What you got to lose a few cents is all. Like you said you may get lucky and put a few bux on the next big Microsft company.. Never know..

But at least your educating yourself so that when you get out of college you can afford some to invest in some nice stocks.

If you could afford it. Now would be a good time to invest in google. As I believe they will suceed MS by 2010.. Google is rumored to be working on a server based operating system that will be free.. Everyone will be able to set their on google operating systems with unlimited storage space, all the programs you could ever want, and its anywhere you go. Just log in to your computer from any place that has a internet connection.. You never have to worry about losing files anymore or computer craches ever again. As google servers will do daily backups for you.. Sounds cool to me. I cant wait..

Wow. Yeah I could get some google and have it sit for a while. I'm also wanting to invest in SVMI, they have made a new type of engine I bet in a few months their stock will raise from $0.3 to $10.
