Elisha Justice for sure should have been on the 1st or 2nd team.
#6
It's amazing how Clark Stepp went from first team last year to 3rd team this year. Joe must have quit pumping money to wymt. Cox should have been third team.

Elisha Justice not on the All Mountain team? Whoever came up with this is a joke and gets 0 respect from me. BGR debates best players in the mountains and one of the top mentioned is Elisha, and then WYMT doesn't have him on the all mountain team? what a joke.

Taylor is a great player, but only got to play about 5 games and got on the team over Elisha?

Oh, I agree. I also know of one more kid that wasn't on the "Underclassman Team" that should have been.

Cody Parker from Johnson Central. Kid was a big part of the JC team this season. His numbers were much better than the ones they posted for the underclassman. They had one guy on there that was 3 ppg and 2 apg. Parker was def. overlooked for that team as was Justice for the other teams.

Stepp is 10 times better ball player than Cox. Cox can just shoot better.

Another underclassman that should have been listed was Dillion Stiltner from Phelps. The kid played good all year long and wasn't mentioned anywhere on any of the lists!

I don't know why grade Stiltner is in. But, I know the UC Team were 9th and below.

Wel then.. WHY in the world would an 8th grader be playing high school ball?? LOL....

Stiltner is older than a freshman....I just figured that "underclassman" meant under a senior. My mistake!! Smile

WYMT are the ones who stated 9th and below. Looks like they would have called it the Mountain Stars of Tomrrow Team or something like that for that grade group.

Made just as many shots by taking less shots. Everyone else knows what it means.

After watching Justice today, he is a lot better than Whitaker from Hazard.

HAHAHAHA you must be a Stepp.

The older Elisha gets the more exposure he is going to get and more big time schools will come looking. Elisha is the real deal.

Justice is a good player, but saying he is better than Whitaker may be a stretch. Whitaker led his team to the state tourney and made a great showing. He also led his team to the All A state tourney and made a great showing. Whitaker is a great player and he is a winner.

Not a stretch at all. Probably a toss-up between the two. I wonder how many people looked for Elisha on the first team, and when they didn't see his name, automatically assumed he was on the second team. The overall selections made by WYMT were way off base.
