Well I think that Paintsville exposed the weaknesses of UHA, but they just didn't play that well offensively and it cost them. So if Hazard is hitting their shots and takes care of the ball, then I'll go with the Bulldogs by 4 or more. If Hazard comes out flat or plays careless, then they will lose!! Doesn't get any simpler than that. UHA is like a Ferrari driving around town at 35 MPH. lol Can't understand it.

We would greatly appreciate everyone coming out Sunday afternoon at 3 pm to McBrayer Arena in Richmond to support the Bulldogs. The Dawgs are playing for the whole Mountain/Eastern KY area now. These boys have played their hearts out for 3 days now and let's pray they can do it one more time.

UHA is 20-4, but they have lost two games this year to teams (Hopkinsville & Hopkins County Central) who are 13-10 and 12-12 respectively in the 2nd region. The Bulldogs are 20-3. Hazard has lost only one game to a team in ky and that is June Buchanan in the finals of the WYMT TV Mountain Classic. In that game Hazard had just got Warren eligible and was not the team they are now. I like Hazard in this game by 4. JMO

I'll tell you exactly what we can do. We can go out there and play with every bit of strength and courage and determination that we have. We can put our heart and soul into the game. Then, win, lose or draw we can walk out of there with our heads held high and come back home knowing that we did our best and proud of the fact that we are the BULLDOGS!!!!!

Some of you might remember an LSU player named Pistol Pete Maravich whose father was the LSU coach. I believe he averaged over 40 points per game and Kentucky was preparing to head to Baton Rouge to play them. A reporter was interviewing Coach Rupp and asked him how he planned to handle Maravich and beat LSU. He said..."We will stop the rest of the players from scoring and let Pete run loose. He can't beat us by himself." Maybe this will be our strategy. Let Scotty score and defense the rest of the team so well that they are unable to play their normal support roles. It's just a thought and it did work for Kentucky. Pete scored about 50 points and we beat them anyway.

Hope to see all you Hazard fans (as well as other basketball lovers from the mountains) at the game showing your support for our dogs!
