Final in this one was S.C. 77 L.C. 63. Very physical game. S.C. had problems with L.C.'s pitch over the top offense and had problems with their 1-2-1-1 zone press. SC shot 43 freethrows to LC's 21. This was the difference in the game. Not saying that it was called in favor of SC, they just drove to the basket more and received the contact. Good game by both teams. Impressive game from Carla Booth. She finished 16 of 21 from the line and ended the game with 39 points (would have been 40 if she hadn't have had to be taken out before shooting one of her two freethrows for having a cut on her knee.
