I agree they should have got more rest when they got a big game tomorrow, but I don't think Runyon was tryin to prove anything.

IMO when players get in a grove they need to play. I agree that PHS should have played their starters at least 3 quarters.

I also believ they had 2 others in double digits. Just not sure which ones. I think it was Vanhoose and Murry. Bundy played a great game at point tonight. Especially the no look between the leggs pass in the 3rd for the assist.

yea JBS was unclassy about it they played there starters till 2 mins. left in the 4th...PHS didnt play them at all the 4th so i give BMR credit on that

Congrats to the Tigers! No big surprise. SF will be alright in a few years. All teams go through the rebuilding process.

I don't blame BMR for playing the starters for 3, they need the extra time to stay sharp.. But they didn't need to play any in the 4th and BMR did the proper thing by taking them out. That is good for the 2nd and 3rd string players to get some PT.

Yeah well coach Runyon didn't leave Landon and Grimm in or switch them in and out with eachother so they could get their stats up like JBS did with Stepp and the other boy. Not only that, Paintsville was in a groove and they have to play again tomorrow, why not keep them in that groove as long as you can. Atleast none of the starters played in the 4th quarter. And anybody that knows coach Runyon knows he wouldn't do that to another team to make them look bad or to make his players look good in the stats.

I can only remember one instance and that was when Todd Tackett was left in a game so that he could break the School scoring record against a team they beat by 30+.
The opposing coach took a little offense to it.

Well i agree with your caps quote....But really grown men..."coachs"...doing this to a group of young boys....get real ....be it JBS, PHS, or anyother....FREAKING NO RESPECT....SF has talent with the boys on the team...just noone with talent of teaching them how to use it......what goes around comes around...GOOD LUCK TO DEV AND PIKEVILLE...:mad:

That could be the craziest comment I have ever seen posted. You just see Pikeville beat a team ,that according to some, should have walked through the state tournament and you say the coach at Paintsville shouldn't START the starters. I love it...it's amazing!!!

IMO, it's the other teams job to stop you. I think the days of every kid getting a trophy just becasue they came out should be over. You have to learn that in life, sometimes you get the *&%^ kicked out of you, but you have to get right back up. Nobody said life was easy. When you play a team like P-ville or JBS you know that might happen.
