#2

#3
Lowe
Booth
Conley
Deskins
Holly Harris
Roberts, before her injury
I know I am missing several but I just can't think of names right now
#4
Lowe
Harris
Ad Slone
Roberts b-4 the injury
Wireman from Johnson
Carroll from Paintsville
Brewer from Sheldon Clark
Conley
#5
I knew I would leave someone out, A.D. Slone is definitely one of the top 10 in the region. Great rebounder and solid player.
#6
how about Ashley Hall from magoffin?
#7

i could agree w/ that she would b near the bottom of my list though
#8
kayla lowe
ashley hall
? wireman
sally roberts-b4 injury
Laura carroll
carla booth
kayla cantrell
i dont remember her name right off but she is #4 for betsy layne
#9
LOwe from pc and Conley from jc
Conley scored he 1000th point tonight as a junior and didnt play last year.
#10
Hmmm I don't know much about the rest of the 15th but I would say that Kayla Lowe is prob. the top....
#11
No one has mentioned Laura Perkins, but I think she definitely should be mentioned. She plays hard and has stepped up tremendously in the absence of Sally. When she drives to the basket, she is very hard to defend and she is a pretty good defensive player as well. She is a really good athlete.

The other names that immediately come to mind are Kayla Lowe, A.D. Slone, Carroll, Deskins, Booth, Brittany Swindall, Conley, Wireman, and Kayla Cantrell.
#12
i agree laura perkins is a really good ball player..
#13
Have you all forgot about Kaitlyn Riley!?!?!??!
one of the best if not the best this region has saw in a loooooong time!

you have got to be kidding me, she is a good player but by no means one of the best the region has seen in a "LOOOOOOOOOOOOONG TIME". Have you forgotten

Haley Ratliff
Summer Jones
Amanda Collins
Vicki Hall
All the Magoffin girls from the past few years

thats just to name a few

Now you have Lowe, Harris, Perkins, Slone, Carroll, Cantrell, Roberts even though she got hurt.

All of these girl were and are better than Riley. Shes a good player but she is not one of the 15th regions elite.

One game does not make you an elite player, does she do this every game apparently not or we would have heard more about her. I have not seen the stats for last night yet so when i look at them ill let you know more. I know one thing she is NOT and let me say this one more time NOT one of the best the region has seen in the past years.

HA HA HA....'ELITE' *chuckle chuckle chuckle* Not saying she is bad but like 15thslamabama said, it takes a whollllleeee lot more games than one to become elite

Katlin Rilley Is probably the best thing that happened to Phelps Lady Hornets

she fell and broke her arm last night against Lawrence County out for the rest of the year
#20
I think Carla Booth, Patience Brewer and Jordyn Harless from SC are contenders.

hunny she is the best thing that happened to phelps
she is a all around player
dont get me wrong or nuttin
but I THINK that u r just saying that cause her team beat theirs cause most of that people on that list is from PC
#22
You've got to have Julianne Frye from Prestonsburg in there somewhere.

"Hunny" I do not care where a player is from if I think they are the best player im going to say she is. See the thing is you haven't been around long enough to know the type of person I am. I use to be the worst one on here for critiquing the way the Lady Hawks played. Ask Kayla Lowe there for about 3 months she wouldn't talk to me b/c I said she tried to play to much of a guard and not a post player.

Now Riley is a good player and may be the best thing that has happened to Phelps but that still does not place you up with the elite players. Can you sit here and tell me that she is on the same level as the Howard girls from Magoffin or Haley Ratliff or Amanda Collins or even better Summer Jones. By no means is she at that point. Could she be if she had this type of coaching her whole life more than likely yes. She will not get recruited by a D-1 school where Jones, Ratliff, Collins and Howard did, now she will play NAIA ball and will do well at it. It is not her fault she isn't on the same level but if JR had not became the coach over on Phelps then honestly I think she would have just been a mediocre player. But thats my opinion take it with a grain of salt. But good Luck to you all, JR and RIley on the rest of the season you all have a ball team now.

I agree with most of the girls mentioned. Laura Carroll is a big favorite of mine. She has talent, heart, and great sportsmanship.
I personally think Tonya Bowen from Lawrence County is a great point guard also.

WE AWAIT YOUR FINAL ANSWER..............:p LOL

stat__katt Wrote:WE AWAIT YOUR FINAL ANSWER..............:p LOL

my final answer is she is not one of the top 10 players in the region. Have I not made my self clear, she is a GOOD player. For Phelps she is a GREAT player, if I was to make a team of 15th region players she would not be on it. What do you want me to say? Do you want me to take your side and say she is an elite 15th region player? She has not made her known, I guarantee most people on this site did not even know who the girl was until you all mentioned her.

stat__katt Wrote:what about marissa pruitt from belfry???

attitude is a big problem with her, she has a lot of quit in her. On the defensive side of the ball she is lazy. If she would lose the attitude and play to her capability then year she would be. The way she acts and treats Coach Stiltner kills me.

Carla Booth is the up and coming player of the 15th region and will be one of the top players in the state before it is all said and done. She is by far the best guard I have seen play in the 15th Region. She is only a
freshman. How many other freshman are putting up numbers like she is. She had 39 against Lawrence Co and 27 against Pike Central. Don't see anyone
touching her in the next 3 year. As far as centers. Patience Brewer from Shledon Clark has to be considered. She is only a Jr. She is in the tops
in rebounding in the state. Has the best post move of any center in the Region.
