I think the Pack kid from Paintsville is often overlooked but he gives the Tigers some good minutes.

Conley and Welch from JC

I would have to say Jacob Bryant from Valley.

I'd say both of the Bryants, and Jonah Justice all from Shelby Valley.

I don't think Logan should even be starting for Valley. However, I would also agree that Jonah is underated. He does alot for Valley.

Pack from Paintsville

Justin Murray - Paintsville

BJ Moore @ Sheldon Clark. A lot of people don't even know that this kid is just an 8th Grader.
01-22-2008, 02:23 AM
Michael Burchett from Pburg and Aaron Crum from Allen Central

I would have to say Gatlin Clark from Pikeville. This kid is an absolute hustler. He is one of the hardest working defenders I have seen in a game this year. He also comes up with some big shots. He always seems to be around the ball. He takes some hard knocks and keeps getting up, this is a tough kid. I think he a very good basketball player and he is only a sophomore.

How can you even say that? He is one of the best defenders in the region and has been a vital part of Valley's success the last couple of years. I think they have done pretty well with this starting five, so why I change it?

How do you get he is underrated, everybody on here has him in their top 5 players in the region, lol. AT the beginnin of the year, yes he was underrated, but not anymore.

I have to say Jacob Bryant. He is the go to guy for Valley when they have to have a score. He can take anyone off the dribble, take anyone in the post, and can shoot a little (even though he can't shoot nearly as good as a few years ago). In my opinion, he never gets the recognition he deserves.

Moore from SC.This 8th grader has a great future ahead of him.

I think they have done pretty well with this starting five, so why I change it?I'm not taking anything away from Logan, he hustles and plays hard every game. His defense consist of alot of backslapping after the player gets by. He needs to work a little more on playing under control. I think Tyler Newsome would be a better fit. He's a smart player and can knock down the three better than anyone on the team. He handles the ball great and is a very good passer. He's also about 6'3 or 4 which could lead to alot of mismatches.
I think Coach Bhooer probably knows what's best for the team though, so I will leave it at that.
Again, I think Logan is a fine young man and a good player.

My two picks are from here in the 57th.
Murray from paintsville
Whitaker from Johnson Central. He's s junior i beleive and when the both of them implement themselves in a game their entire team seems to do better than the norm.

I would have to say that its Justin Cline from Sheldon Clark. This young man is a terror in the low post. He is a caged tiger ready to attack its victim down under the rim......

I'm gonna have to agree with you on that one. He is pretty amazing to watch. Especially knowing that he is only in 8th grade.
kudos to thekid

If this kid is who I think he is ......... his mom was a GREAT ball player in high school as well.

I think Grimm from Paintsville is a little underrated IMO

Tyler Baker or Gatlin Clark. They both are by no means the stars of Pikeville but they both put in great minutes and do what is asked of them and don't try to do too much. Also Jonah Justice from Shelby Valley does a great job, without getting the most recognition.

Definitely Jacob Bryant. IMO he is one of the top players in the region, yet you often see his name left off lists of the top 10 players in the 15th. Valley will really miss him next year.
Logan Bryant, no. He is a solid player and a good starter, but should not be considered one of the top 10 players.
As for Jonah, he is also a good player and a solid starter/6th man, but is not on the same level with the 15th region elite.

I believe you meant to post this on the other thread. This is about the most underrated players not the top 10 players.

well, I'll have to give that post a (10) on flowery descriptors... and who could fault the member for such conviction!? Congrats to Cline for having someone feel that strongly about him and his game!
